TINOS RESIDENCE

Residential

Simplicity, and thoughtfulness to detail are the defining elements of this haven on the island of Tinos. Refurbished by Zege architects, and decorated by Marilyn Katsaris Interior Architecture firm, this old Cycladic village house sits atop a slope in the village of Triantaros.

The purity of the white walls and wooden white flooring, allow simple details to stand out amongst the sparsity of the space.

Concrete, stone, and wood are the primary materials used, as employed in the construction of traditional Tinian island houses. Here the keen use of textiles and intermittent pops of color lend themselves to an environment that feels fresh, warm, and inviting.

With most of the home consisting of built-in elements, the space feels uncluttered and organised.

Unique decoration pieces define the tone of this stunning vacation home. A place where one enters, and leaves the rest of the world behind.
